"...It is a pleasant accompaniment to fish, shellfish, and the lighter meats, but its delicate flavor is perhaps even more appreciated at the end of the meal with melon or dessert."

Welcome to the Number 5 Wine list. We have put together a broad range of wines from around the world with particular emphasis on California Chardonnay's and hearty reds. The list is offered in a progressive format. That is, the wines will proceed from fruitier and sweeter to the heartier and dryer as you read down the list. Nearly every grape and wine regions are represented, and our list is a living list. It will change monthly, weekly, or daily if needed.

As new impressive wines, or great values become available, we will offer them to you. If you have suggestions or favorites, let us know and we'll try to add them. Please keep in mind that some wines will always be out of stock due to short supplies. In every case we will be happy to offer an alternative. In most cases, we offer most of the highest rated wines available in upstate New York.

Enjoy, and remember, only two things can improve your meal at Number 5...

1.) A bottle of wine with dinner.
2.) Somebody else picks up the check.
